May in the Garden

1 06 2011

The month of May has brought us an abundance of vegetables. We harvested kale, garlic, carrots, beans, beets, zucchini, and a variety of lettuces. All of their hard work is now paying off in the form of beautiful nutritious food!

I am so jealous of your garden and how you get to have one at your school. I did not have a garden at my school growing up and this is such a great addition. Beautiful photos, Jacqueline, you really captured the essence and beauty of the garden and especially all the awesome farmers taking care of it and helping to grow those yummy fruits, veggies, and flowers!

Keep glowing and growing! : )
